Dr. Bridgeman graduated summa cum laude from the University of Michigan Dental School in 1985. Prior to that, she graduated with a BSN in nursing and worked for several years as a surgical and emergency room nurse. She was a Harvard dental resident at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital after graduation. Dr. Bridgeman studied under notable local dentists Dr. Chuck Arnold, Dr. Howard Hill and Dr. Ron Nevins. She also has participated in post graduate work at the Pankey Institute of Florida and the Seattle Center for Excellence in Seattle, Wa., and continues to make continuing education a passion, not just a necessity. She is a member of the dental honor society: Phi Beta Kappa, the Ma. Dental Society and the American Dental Society.Dr. Bridgeman brings a warmth and gentleness to her practice as well as a focus on quality, beauty and excellence in dentistry. Function and esthetics go hand in hand. She is also committed to helping the patient understand what dental health is, helping them achieve it and maintain dental health with regular prophylaxis and education on home care.Dr. Bridgeman is happily married to her husband John, and they have 3 sons who are active in the Boy Scouts, Band and choral programs and soccer and track. She loves to keep active with her family, travel, swimming, hiking, biking and skiing.We are here to make your office experience enjoyable. Our staff is trained and skilled, and we strive to take care of your needs in a comfortable setting. Our years of experience as a staff add up to over 150. We take continuing education courses and seminars to stay current with the latest technology.
Jackie has worked in the dental field which she loves for 35 years; 20 of which have been with Dr. Bridgeman. In the early sixties Jackie worked as a medical technologist in the Department of Pathology at Tufts Medical School. She has been active in attending the Yankee Dental Congress annually, and taking many courses relating to practice management. Her priorities are to always be available for you when needed , to assist in making treatment appointments, and help you to better understand your insurance benefits. She has been happily married for 50 years, and is proud of her three grown sons, three daughters in law and, of course her seven grandchildren. In her spare time Jackie loves to golf with her husband, read, cook, entertain, and most of all, spend time with her family.
Joanne is a 1969 graduate of Forsyth School for Dental Hygienists and Northeastern University. She spent the first 32 years of her professional career in a full time position with Dr. Eric B. Birmingam in Bedford, and the last 11 years with Dr. Bridgeman. “My goal is to excel in my clinical skills, as well as develop relationships with my patients that allow me to tailor their hygiene appointments to their specific needs. I also treasure the many friendships I have made in this profession over the years,” she says. Her hobbies include playing the Bagpipes with the band “Creagan More”, genealogy, history and travel. She is also a long time practioner of Yoga, and enjoys walking, biking, and reading. She has a son Ian. In 2002 Joanne married Ted Carlson, with whom she re-connected at their 30 year high school reunion.
Janet McLane: RDH
Janet has worked with Dr. Bridgeman for over 16 years, helping to establish the hygiene department, as well as seeing patients for hygiene appointments. She has a B.S. in Health Sciences, a Masters of Education, and a graduate certificate in Health Informatics. Janet was a full time faculty member of Middlesex Community College, Dental Hygiene program, where she taught local anesthesia, radiology, ethics, and dental hygiene concepts. She is a member of the Massachusetts Dental Hygiene Association. and in her spare time, she enjoys being with her family and friends, as well as reading.
Jessica Nadeau: RDH
Jessica has been in the dental hygiene field for a few years now after graduating from Middlesex Community College. Making her patients feel comfortable during their appointment is a top priority of hers. She enjoys spending time with her husband and family as well as hiking biking and being outdoors.
Barbara has worked in the dental field for over 27 years. She has worked with Dr. Bridgeman for over 20 years. She was an office manager and worked at the front desk for 11 years before switching to dental assisting. She enjoys the personal aspect of dentistry. Her calmness and gentle caring personality help patients feel comfortable and relaxed during their dental appointment. Barbara is happily married to Buddy, with 8 children and 13 grandchildren. Her interests include reading, gardening, family, and the beach. She also enjoys being active in her church community.
Julie has been a Dental Assistant for nearly 20 years, working the last 14 with Dr. Bridgeman. She is certified in radiology. Julie enjoys assisting patients with cosmetic and comprehensive dental procedures, such as crowns, bridgework and veneers. We rely on her computer expertise, her bright smile and friendliness to get us through the day. Julie is happily married to Keith and has 2 young sons, Zach and Derek. In her spare time she likes to play with the kids, cook, bake and travel to Florida where her parents now live. She makes all our birthday cakes and they are the BEST!
Rudi graduated from Minuteman Technical Institute in June 2015 and is certified in Radiology and Infection Control. Born in Bulgaria, she has lived in Massachusetts since 2008 and is married to her husband Matt and has two young sons Jack and Thomas. She enjoys being a mom and leating a healthy lifestyle through great cooking and exercise. She is very excited to begin her dental career working with our great team
‘Robby’ has enjoyed working for four summers with the staff. He keeps very busy helping with the front desk/office duties as well as helping the assistants and hygienists with sterilization and labwork. He also assists the Dr. in patient care. This summer we are using his technology expertise to update the computer programs and deliver state of the art communication through texting, emails, and digital intraoral pictures.
